More than 900 Special Olympic athletes vied for Northern California Championship titles June 7-8 during the 13th annual Summer Games at The University of California, Berkeley. The weather was perfect for the Games as athletes of all ages and abilities competed for gold in aquatics, bocce ball, tennis, track and field and volleyball.
