In one of the greatest European Cup finals in history Liverpool fight back from a 3-0 half-time before winning on penalties.<br>
<br>
Milan captain Maldini scores inside the first minute before Hernan Crespo add two more goals to cap off a fabulous display of attacking football.<br>
<br>
Milan fall apart early in the second half, conceding three goals in six minutes. Jerzy Dudek and the Liverpool rearguard then repel wave after wave of Milan attack. Dudek makes a crucial double save in the final minutes of extra time from Andriy Shevchenko to take the game into penalties.<br>
<br>
Dudek saves penalties from Serginho, Pirlo and finally Shevchenko to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
